Over 30 Burnt to Death in Onitsha

According to the report, the incident happened at about 3pm, when a 40-foot trailer carrying fuel had a break failure, as it was descending the Enugu/Onitsha Expressway, heading towards Upper Iweka – Unfortunately, it rammed into fleet of vehicles at Asaba park, Upper Iweka in Onitsha, Anambra state and over 15 buses were said to have burnt…
The DPO in charge of central police station Onitsha, Isa Abubakar, who spoke to newsmen on the scene of the incident, said over 22 corpses were recovered, and they were still removing the dead bodies.
