Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, who arrived native Otuoke with his wife today, May 29, will now be familiarising himself with his new home – many miles away from his former Aso Rock palace.
It was gathered labourers started putting finishing touches to the five buildings inside the premises on Thursday, May 28, ahead of the former leader's arrival.
Heavy security - Battalion 5 of the Joint Task Force Operation Pulo Shield, was said to be stationed on each side of the spacious compound, as no movement was allowed around the premises.
The soldiers arrested a Punch reporter who attempted to take photographs of the building on Thursday.
